Don't take stars off based on Price, Great Product

I just recently started using coconut oil for everything that calls for butter. I love it. Coconut oil has recently been in the news for helping and even reversing alzheimer's and related diseases. It is delicious. If you don't have any coconut allergies or don't have an aversion for the taste then you owe it to yourself and your health to give it a try. It's buttery and silky smooth with a mild coconut taste. This Carrington Farms brand Coconut Oil is from the Philippines. It is cold pressed, non-hydrogenated, unrefined, virgin and organic. I did purchase this at Costco for less than the $24.99 that it is currently being sold for on Amazon. With that said I believe this is a 5 star product! This 54 oz size should last several months. We share this product with our 5 Black Labrador Retrievers. We use it as a daily food additive for the dogs--a teaspoon in their bowl each morning. Personally, my husband and I use it for just about every oil-necessary cooking requirement. We also spread it on our toast (I add a sprinkle of salt) and it does the work of butter but better. We put a teaspoon or two in our oatmeal in place of butter and, again, it's better. I'm embarrassed to say that I take a sniff of the jar every time I open it. Smells yummy, especially this brand. It's a good price, too. Benefits--we ALL have shiny coats...

I ordered this after reading reviews online. I am so glad I did! This coconut oil smells and tastes wonderful. It has the nutty, sweet coconut smell. It's not too overpowering. I use it for pretty much everything. I am so glad I got it. Just wish I could find it for less.
