Excellent product

I haven't had this product long but this is my first impression.

It has a very pleasant, light,fresh coconut scent. Likewise, the taste has just a light hint of coconut.

Using it to cook soft scramble eggs instead of organic butter over medium heat, it did an excellent job. The cooking time was slower and more controlled and the result was very good with NO hint of coconut in the taste.

With the dry heat indoors during the winter, I use an organic oil for a moisturizer on my face. I had been using avocado oil but it does not absorb very quickly. Coconut oil does the trick by absorbing a generous coating completely in about 60-90 minutes. Really soft and tight feeling and even felt that way the next morning.

It can be used as an excellent lip balm.

If I get any cuter using it, I will let you know.

Organic oils - an amazing discovery

I have been using organic oils on my face and body and hair and everywhere else as a moisturizer and healing agent for about a year in a half and it has made a huge difference in the look and health of my skin in that time. The coconut oil does wonderful things for my hair, I use it every chance I get..in conditioners, shampoos, etc. and it leaves my hair feeling soft ans smelling fresh.

I started using almond and jojoba oil after seeing a dermatologist for years, to no avail, for brittle nails and eczema, plus severely dry skin. After one month of massaging the oils into my nails, cuticles and hands; my nails are strong and healthy and the eczema is in check. I feel like a lot of skin-care products advertise a lot of "extra" ingredients so that they can make unrealistic claims, and charge more for what is essentially a water-based "moisturizing" product. I wanted something that was all natural, so I know what's in it, and what the ingredients do/are good for. I did some research on natural oils that are good for the skin, and these three oils were the one's that kept coming up. If you prefer something that is all natural, very affordable, and ultimately effective then I would recommend any and all of these essential oils.

WOW! Blew me away compared to others!

I first tried Lou Anna Coconut oil for cooking, then moved to Spectrum Organic and thought it was decent. By then I was eating a tablespoon a day before work. Then I saw rave reviews on Barleans and decided to give it a try. I could tell the difference from opening the bottle and just smelling the coconut aroma and subtle sweetness. Spectrum has a chemically coconut smell and mild sweet flavor, but Barleans is similar to drinking coconut milk. Delicious! I don't even mix it with anything, just eat it straight. Then during the day I rub it on my skin and hair for extra benefits! I'm a coconut oil nut, now. I tell everyone how much it can help their health and general wellbeing and people are starting to wake up. So just try it, you won't regret it!
